This course is an intro to radio-based communications for church security teams. You will learn the difference in equipment available to church teams as well as radio theory. With communication during emergency events being crucial, we will give you ways to be more precise and effective in your transmission. You will learn everything from day to day operations, protocols specific to in-church emergencies, how to structure your teams from a comms perspective, specific equipment for your team needs, and how to manage radio traffic in a crisis.

Gordon McGriff is originally from North Carolina and has lived in Pennsylvania since 2019. He is an FCC licensed amateur radio operator for 3 years. Gordon has been a radio communications enthusiast for over ten years. He is a member of The Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group K9 Team and has been a lifelong K9 handler. Gordon also trains regularly in firearms and combatives and is a humble servant of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
